Kathmandu, 21 Sept.: Gurung said quasi-judicial powers given to CDOs are being curtailed at a time of increased in security the terai through the four-point agreement.
“The agreement makes no mention of problems created by the open border,” the senior Maoist leader close to the Mohan Baidya camp says.
The first vice-chairman camp opposed the four-point agreement and is lobbying for a national government led by Maoists.
“The talk is of creating a separate unit after a federal structure. Such a force can’t be created immediately.
“The main problem is with India. There’s no problem with China. The four-point agreement, it appears, accepts Indian interests [regarding water and security.” More
