NC DECIDES TO GO AHEAD WITHDECISION TO DISSOLVE FOUR FRATERNAL ORGANIZATIONS

NC ESTABLISHMENT TO IMPLEMENT DECISION TO DISSOLVE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES OF DEUBA FRATERNAL ORGANIZATIONS

Kathmandu, 5 Sept.: The establishment in the main opposition NC decided Wednesday to implement a central committee (CC) decision this week to dissolve four sister organizations whose elected tenure ended—a decision opposed a faction of Sher Bahadur Deba.
Two dozen central committee members supporting President Sushil Koirala decided to implement the CC decision.
“The question of withdrawing the decision doesn’t rise. We’re ready to form representative preparatory committees [ad hoc for election,” said Ananda Dhungana.
Deuba supporters decided to continued fast on to death at party head office in the capital demanding restoration of status quo ante.
