NEPALI WOMEN’S FIFA RANKING SLIPS

Kathmandu, 24 Sept.: Nepal women’s national football team dropped two places in FIFA ranking to 113.
In the latest ranking of soccer’s world governing body, the national women’s team got 1080 points Friday.
India is ranked 54 and tops in South Asian with 1438 points.
Bagladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives are placed 119, 120 and 121 respectively behind Nepal.
Pakistan is placed 125.
USA tops the ranking followed by Germany.

TWO NEA BOARD MEMBERS RESIGN

Kathmandu, 24 Sept, Two board members of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA)—appointees of the previous government—have resigned.
Subash Karmacharya and Kedar Sanjel resigned.
