PADLOCKS AT SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY ALSO REMOVED
Kathmandu, 24 Sept.: Padlocks of Sanskrit University were removed Friday.
They were placed by educationists affiliated with main opposition NC and Maoists who were in the government ousted government of Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal.
Maoists now lead the government but in the Khanal government, Maoists said Khanal appointed vice-chancellors to early half dozen universities without consulting political parties demanding nominations of their henchmen.
The government of Baburam Bhattarai overturned the appointments.
The forced closure of universities ended by installation of the Bhattarau government promising fresh nominations but Sanskrit University continued to be padlocked.

PM BHATTARAI MEETS FORMER SCHOOL TEACHERS IN USA
Kathmandu, 24 Sept. Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai met his former school teachers Thursday at Connecticut, Kantipur reports.
He drove for three hours from New York to meet them, Kantipur reports.
Bhattarai spent nearly one hour with school founder Yalner Lelints, Thomas Vergesse and Mary Vergesse [transliterated].
Wife Hishihila accompanied Bhattarai.
The trio taught Bhattarai at Amar Jyoti Madhyamik Schooll in Luitel, Gorkha.
Former students Bhoj Marahatta, Bhairab Khukurel, Bal Krishna Sharma, Shova Neupane and Surendra Raj Neupane were with Bhattarai.
