TOP PARTY LEADERS IN CHINA ATTENDING SEMINAR ON SOUTH ASIA

PM BHATTARAI, MADHAV KUMAR NEPAL MEET

Kathmandu, 3 Sept.: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Friday sought support of UML leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal to run government.
Nepal is a firm critic of Maoists; he engineered the fall of the Jhalanath Khanal and helped pull down the party government in more than seven months.
Nepal supports close NC,UML ties.
Besides political party chifes, Bhattarai is also holding consultations with former Prime Ministers Surya Bahadur Thapa and Lokendra Bahadur Chand.

LEADERS IN CHINA FOR SEMINAR

Kathmandu, 3 Sept.: Leaders of UCPN (Maoist) main opposition NC and UML, another opposition party, are currently in China attending a conference.
KP Sharma Oil and Bharat Mohan Adhikari of UML, Sujata Koirala and Rakesh Hamal of NC and Krishna Bahadur Mahara and Hukum Bahadur Singh are in China for a International Conference of South Asia.
