UML SAYS FOUR-POINT AGREEMENT OPPORTUNISTIC UPDATE

Kathmandu, 14 Sept.: A UML central committee meet concluded Wednesday a four-point agreement between Maoists and five Madesh parties was opportunistic.
The central committee concluded the agreement that propelled Maoists to power with support of Madeshbadi parties should be amended.
The committee met for the third day Wednesday as it prepares official UML positions on various national issues,
The meeting will continue for the fourth day Thursday.

PM BHATTARAI CONSULTS FORMER AMBASSADORS

Kathmandu, 14 Sept.: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Wednesday held discussions with former ambassadors as the new government seeks personal support and for government.
Bhattarai leaves Monday for New York to lead a 13-member Nepali delegation to the annual session of the UN general assembly.
