Sher Bahadur Deuba, Surya Bahadur Thapa, Lokendra Bahadur Chand and Prachanda, who is also chairman of UCPN (Maoist), attended the meet.
They also discussed the delayed peace process and constitution
drafting.

Kathmandu, 9 Oct.: Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Nembang held separate discussions Saturday with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Maoist Chairman Prachanda and NC
Vice-chairman Ram Chandra Paudel as Dasain celebrations end.
Nembang discussed the stalled peace and constitution drafting
processes and called for concrete results to end a deadlock.
Nemwang,who is also parliament’s speaker, and the Maoist chief also discussed the impact of the differences in UCPN (Maoist) on the peace process.
The assembly chairman and speaker will conduct
with leaders of other parties, including the UML, and party whips to draw their attention for an end to the deadlock.
Less than two months remain to conclude the delayed processes as Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai says he’ll seek a six-month extension of the CA to promulgate and draft a constitution.
