NO UML CONFIRMATION OF MAOIST RECENT FLEFIBILITY

Kathmandu, 11 Oct.: A senior UML leader and a former home
minister Tuesday wouldn’t confirm a NC claim Maoists were presenting themselves positively.
“Maoists are presenting themselves positively compared to the past,” IN General Secretary Krishna Prasad Shitaula said Tuesday.
‘Coming discussions will indicate whether Maoists are flexible,”
UML leader Bhim Rawal said tersely.
Rawal said he couldn’t immediately give a judgment on Maoist flexibility as no inter-party talks have been held recently.
The two opposition parties are developing a common position for talks with Maoists to conclude a delayed peace process by ending a prolonged deadlock.
