NRNA TO START OPEN UNIVERSITY
Kathmandu, 9Oct.:A delegation of the Non Resident Nepalis Association on Sunday called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and presented the progress details about the Open University going to be established with joint venture between the government and the Association, RSS reports.

During the meeting held at the Rastrapati Bhawan, matters related to the possible investment by NRNA in Nepal were also discussed.



According to the Association, the concept of the Open University conceptualized by the NRNs in America and Canada in 2010 is expected to materialise by 2014.

On the occasion, President Dr Yadav inquired about the possible support from the NRNs in the conservation of the Chure area.

The delegation drew the President's attention towards the provision of dual citizenship for NRNs.
