PROPOSAL TO AMEND CONSTITUTION INTERIM CONSTITUTION REGISTERED UPDATE

Kathmandu, 4 Nov. Law Minister Brijesh Kumar Gupta Friday registered a bill at the parliament secretariat for the 11th amendment to an interim constitution.
The cabinet earlier decide to mend the interim basic law through an 11th amendment to facilitate the formation of an experts committee to recommend a federal structure.
The task was to be taken up by a state reorganization commission.
Parliament meets next Friday to discuss and amend the interim constitution.
