CORRUPTION CHARGES AGAIN REGISTERED AGAINST TWO FORMER IGPs AT SPECIAL COURT
Kathmandu, 14 Nov.: Cases for alleged corruption cases by former
IGPs Achyut Raj Kharel and Moti Lal Bohara were registered again
Monday at the special court.
The cases were registered after the supreme court earlier overturned
a special court decision of the special court to dismissed corruption
charges filed by CIAA against the two former IGPs on technical grounds.

PEACE MINISTRY PREPARES FOR TALKS WITH ARMED OUTFITS
Kathmandu, 14 Nov.: The Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction (MoPR) has made preparations making formal calls to the armed groups that have been operating criminal activities in different districts of Tarai, to come for dialogue, RSS reports.
According to Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Satya Pahadi, the first priority will be given to those groups which have conducting criminal activities with political purpose.
Minister Pahadi further said the government will start initiative to solve the problems through dialogue with the groups with good intention.
The government will present itself strongly with the groups operating activities in criminal ways, she added.
Minister Pahadi said the government has requested four groups including Akhil Tarai Mukti Morcha and Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morch for dialogue.
Similarly, various groups including the Kirant and Limbuwan groups which have been operating armed activities in Eastern Tarai were also requested for dialogue.
She said the ministry has made preparations with the purpose of holding talks in the first round giving priority to the problems which could be solved politically.
Preparation has been made to start talks with the groups within a week, she said.
