AIRLIFT OF STRANDED TOURISTS BEGINS IN EVEREST REGION, TO BE COMPLETE IF BREAK IN WEATHER HOLDS
Kathmandu, 7 Nov.: With a break in the weather early morning Monday, a fleet of helicopters and aircraft began a rescue of more than 3,500 tourists stranded at Solukhumbu, the home of the 8848 meters high Mount Everes, he world’ss tallest peak.
