MAOIST CHIEF CALLS OFF BANGLADESH VISIT

Kathmandu, 25 Nov. Maoist Chairman Prachanda cancelled a
proposed Bangladesh visit to attend an anti-imperialism conference
in Dhaka from Sunday citing internal situation in the country/
Foreign Department Party Chief Krishna Bahadur Mahara will
participate in the conference, an announcement said Saturday.

PROLONGED TERA STRIKE CALLED OFF
Kathmandu, 26 Nov.: A strike by seven parties and group that has disrupted normal life in far-West and Western terai districts was withdrawn on the fourth day Saturday.
The call off of the strike that inconvenienced people has been
welcomed.
