FURTHER DETAILS OF KAMAL THAPA PRESS MEET
Kathamandu, 16 Nov.: RPP Chairman Kamal Thapa said people’s struggle will be staged for three days continuously from 27 November.
The party still advocating constitutional monarchy, multi-party democracy and Hindu state demanded elections of constituent assembly after its dissolution.
The assembly has completed its two-year elected tenure without drafting and promulgating a constitution.
Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Tuesday called for another six-month extension to complete the process after 30 November saying it will be the last extension.
It has become a habit for parties to ignore completing the peace process and constitution drafting after an extension to secure their assembly/parliamentary seats.
Then parties and leaders suddenly become active they just before the tenure is about to end and ask for another extension.
