PM BHATTARAI AGAIN EXPANDS CABINET

Kathmandu, 13 Nov.:: One day after returning home from
the Maldives 17th SAARC summit, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai
Sunday nominated three more state ministers to his cabinet
which now has 49 members.
It has been described as a jumbo ministry when the premier until expansion before leaving formed the biggest cabinet to buy support of Maoists at the party is even threatened with a split over internal differences.
The Bhattarai cabinet laws the biggest after government of Sher Bahadur Deuba of the the infamous Pajero culture.
Bhattarai expanded his cabinet while promising government
Austerity.
Sarita Sah was appointed state minister for information and
communication, Om Prakash Yadav of agriculture ministry and
and Khobari Raya Yadav industry ministry.
They are all from Madeshbadi parties that have helped UCPN (Maoist) form a majority government.

SC INTERVENES IN AMNESTY RECOMMENDATION OF CABINET UPDATE
Kathmandu, 13 Nov 13: A single bench of the supreme (SC) Sunday asked the President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister
Baburam Bhattarai and the council of
ministers not to amnesty Maoist lawmaker
Balkrishna Dhungel until November 21.
He order was issued at the first hearing on a
writ to not to implement a cabinet decision
asking the ceremonial president to amnesty
Dhungel.
The order gives the president breathing time to consult concerned persons and bodies.

The next hearing on the writ is on 21 November.

Sabitri Shrestha, sister of late Ujjan Kumar
Shrestha, filed a writ petition asking the apex court to overturn the government decision.
Shrestha was murdered by the Maoist lawmaker.
Foreign powers, mainly India and European states, were funding, giving shelter and promoting Maoists in the fight against the parliamentary autocratic government of Girija
Prasad Koirala.
Maoists launched the 10-year against the
excesses of the Koirala government and later
turned into a movement against monarchy in
which USA joined later.
KPorala later joined hands with Maoists to topple monarchy for which people and the nation are suffering for
six years with lawlessness, ruined economy
and uncertainty.
PM Bhattarai said Sunday foreign money was funding unnamed organizations in a deliberate campaign against
the Maoist-led government.
He didn’t name specific foreign countries,
Rich but internationally midget Scandinavian
countries like Denmark and Norway are funding and supporting INGOs and NGOs supporting Maoists.
