PM’S TEA RECEPTION TO CELEBRATE DASAIN, TIHAR, CHHAT

Kathmandu, 1 Nov.: Prime Minister Babauram Bhattaraai Tuesday held a tea reception at his official residence to celebrate dasain, tihar and chhat.
President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and other leaders of society attended the reception.

PM’S INDIA VISIT HAS HELPED STRENGTHEN BILATERAL TIES

Kathmandu, 1 Nov.: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Jayant Prasad said that Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattara’s India visit has helped in strengthening bilateral relation between India and Nepal, RSS reports.

Speaking at an interaction organized by Reporters Club of Nepal, he said the visit has been succeeded for further developing the two good neighbors’ relation.


It is positive to express commitment from the leaders of the both countries in the government level forming different mechanism and forward the assistance for the economic and social development, said Prasad.

He informed that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has assured Nepalese Prime Minister Dr. Battarai to support the country to conclude the peace process, constitution drafting and forge national consensus.

Technical studies are underway for the development of physical infrastructures in the country, said Indian envoy Prasad, adding India has been making attempts to run Indian Railway service in the bordering areas.
