Kathmandu, 4 Nov.: An unidentified group has looted weapons of police from the Jhanda Mela (fair) organized at Bathnaha VDC of Mohottari district, on Thursday night, RSS reports from Gaushala..
The group had looted a three-naught-three rifle and five rounds of bullets from a police team, which had gone to stop gambling at the fair. According to locals, the group angered by the police presence looted the weapons as the team accidentally reached the place of gambling at Bathnaha-5.
Meanwhile, the District Police Office claimed that a team led by DSP Kedar Khanal seized the looted weapons, but no person involved in the incident had been arrested.
