SHYAM SUNDAR GUPTA'S MEMBERSHIP OF CA REINSTATED

UN SECRETARY GENERAL BAN KI-MOON WELCOMES SEVEN-POINT ACCORD

Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: General Secretary of the United Nations (UN) Ban Ki-moon has welcomed the agreement made among the political parties for integration and rehabilitation of the combatants and constitution writing, RSS reports.
In a press release issued on Wednesday night at UN Headquarters, New York, by the spokesperson of Ban Ki-moon, it is stated that he was very much excited from the agreement reached among political parties for establishing a transitional judicial mechanism as per the agreement made in Comprehensive Peace Accord.
General Secretary Ban lauded the spirit presented by the political parties and urged them to move ahead with mutual understanding, emphasising on speedy implementation of the agreement.
The UN always helps the initiatives taken for peace and constitution, said Ban in the statement.

SHYAM SUNDAR GUPTA LREINSTATEDD IN NSP (DEVI)
Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: A special three-member bench of the
supreme court Thursday reinstated Shyam Sundar Gupta’s as member of the Constituent Assembly (CA).

The bench overturned a verdict of the division bench to reinstate Gupta of NSP (Devi).

But Sarita Giri, leader of the NSP faction, says he’s not a party
member.
