TOURISM DECADE TO FOLLOW VISIT NEPAL YEAR-2011: PM BHATTARAI
Kathmandu, 17 Nov.: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has requested the tourism entrepreneurs to bring concrete proposal for the development of the tourism sector in Nepal, RSS reports.
Talking to a delegation of the tourism entrepreneurs at the prime minister’s official residence at Baluwatar, the Prime Minster said the government was moving ahead by forwarding a proposal for tourism decade after completion of the Visit Nepal Year- 2011.
The decade will begin with Visit Lumbini Year, he said and requested to the entrepreneurs to prepare for that, said Acting Executive Director of the Nepal Tourism Board, Subas Niraula.
The PM also made commitment to cooperate to take the Lumbini Sagarmatha Peace March as a national campaign, said campaign convener Krishna KC.
For the development of tourism in Nepal, the Nepal Airlines Cooperation should be made resourceful and the aircraft purchase process will be forwarded within a few days, said tourism entrepreneur Ganesh Sinkhada quoting the PM.
