TWO DEAD IN ROAD ACCIDENTS IN KAVRE UPDATE

Kathmandu, 7 Nov.: Two persons died in a bus and motorcycle accidents at near a temple and Sangha in Kavre district Monday.
A motorcyclist heading for the capital from Banepa was injured after a bus hit in Kavre.
Eight passengers were killed nearly one dozen passengers were injured in a bus and microbus collision in Sunsari Monday morning.
Five persons of one village in Sunsari were killed.
Police said the accident occurred because both vehicles were speeding,

WHITEPAPER ON POLICE CURRUPTION CONTROL AND SECURITY BEING RELEASED

Kathmandu, 7 Nov.: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar said Monday a whitepaper being published within one
week to curb corruption in police and improve security.
The home ministry has collect details of the security situation in all
districts in all the districts, he said.
The regional conferences being held ahead of publication of the white paper, he added.
He inaugurated a conference to review security in the eastern region with 16 districts at Tarhara, Sunsari and not Inruwa as earlier reported before issuance of the whitepaper.

CAPITAL RECORDS NINE MM RAINFALL, MINIMUM TEMPERATURE 12.7 DEGREES CENTIGRADE

Kathmandu, 7 Nov.: The highest temperature recoded in the capital was 21 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 12.7 degrees Celsius Monday.
Nine mm rainfall was recorded Monday.
The capital received its first heavy rainfall Sunday evening.
