ALTOGETHER 512,264 TOURISTS VISIT NEPAL IN FIRST 11 MONTHS OF 2011
Kathmandu, 1 Dec.: Altogether 512,264 tourists visited Nepal in 11 months in 2011until the end of November, Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) said releasing its monthly Thursday – a 21.5 percent increase compared to corresponding period the previous year.
“This is the highest in the history of Nepal,” NTB said in a news release.
Altogether 58,156 tourists arrived in Nepal by air.
Chinese arrivals increased 149.4 percent in the review period.
