MAIN CONSTITUTION DRAFTING MEET INCONCLUSIVE

Kathmandu, 23 Dec.: A meeting of the main constitution
drafting committee meet chaired by Nilambar Acharya was
inconclusive Friday
Maoist Chairman Prachanda and UML senior leader Madhav
Kumar Nepal were busy with party programmes while NC parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Paudel is mourning his mother’s
Death.
The committee was discussing a Prachanda sub-committee to
finalize differences on themes to be includes in a proposed constitution to be promulgated by28 May.

LOAD-SHEDDING COULD BE INCREASED T0 18 HOURS THIS WINTER

Kathmandu, 23 Dec.: Load-shedding in the current dry winter
spell could be increased to a crippling 18 hours a day, energy
secretary Balananda Paudel told a parliamentary committee
Friday.
The daily power cut was increased from two to 10 hours this
week.

Gudpak Bhandar on New Road Thursday afternoon after it defied authorities and opened shutters
