SPECIAL COURT SENTENCES FOUR PERSONS TO 10-YEAR ImPRISONMENT EACH FOR ATTACK ON POLICE POST
Kathmandu, 11 Dec.: A full bench of a special court Sunday sentenced four persons to 10-year jail terms after convicting them for attacking a
police post at Syaulibang in Pyuthan 6 February 2009 and sentenced each of them to 10 years in jail.

CONTEMPT OF COURT CHARGE FILED AGAINST LAW MINISTER BRIJESH KUMAR GUPTA AT SUPREME COURT

Kathmandu, 11 Dec.: Advocate Upendra Nandan Tilamshina Sunday registered a contempt of court charge against Law Minister Brijesh Kumar Gupta at the supreme court Sunday.
Newspapers Sunday quoted Gupta as saying in the last three months in office, he has received offers of bribes from candidates seeking appointment as judges.
Timalshina has demanded a one-year jail sentence of Gupta along with a Rs10,000 fine.
