NC DEMANDS JUDICIAL PROBE INTO PRISON CONDITION UPDATE OF PAUDEL DEATH

Kathmandu, 17 Dec.: NC emergency central committee meet
Saturday demanded a judicial probe on the condition in Chitwan district prison where youth leader Shiba Pasad Paudel was njred this month in a murderous maul.
Paudel died of head injuries sustained in the prison attack.

GOVT, TO IMPLEMENT 4-POINT AREEMENT UPDATE

Kathmandu, 17 Dec.: A meeting convened by Prime Minister
Baburam Bhatarai Saturday with a front of ruling Madeshbadi parties
agreed to implement a four-point agreement. Communication Minister Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta said .
Another meeting will be held Sunday, he said after the meet.
Gupta’s party is a constituent of the front.
“The government has become even stronger after the meet,” Gupta
added.

Shinawatra performed hour-long puja at the Maya Devi temple in
Lumbini the birthplace of The Buddha Saturday.
He flies to Dubai via Kathmandu later in the day and not New Delhi as reported in a headline.

chairman of Central Depository System (CDS).
