PM BHATTARAI NOT AGREEABLE TO FAREWELL OF FORMER PLA FIGHTERS WITHIN 12 DAYS

12 DAYS TO BID FAREWELL TO MAOIST FIGHTERS; PM NOT AGREEABLE
Kathmandu, 16 Dec.: A secretariat under a special committee headed by the prime minister Friday evening proposed a farewell for 19,000 plus
former PLA fighters at 28 cantonments and camps on the next 12 days.
The secretariat has prepared an integration at request of the speciaaal Committee headed by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai who
disagreed with the plan, UML leader Bhim Rawal said.
Rawal represents his party in the committee.

GOVT., LIMBUWAN TALKS UPDATE
Kathmandu, 16 Dec.: Agreement was reached Friday between government and Limbuwan representatives to seek agreements of parties for representation of the representatives of the tribe in a state reorganization commission.
There was agreement government alone couldn’t decide on the
inclusion.
Limbuwan negotiators warned of even more severe protests without representation.
