PM NOT CERTAIN CONSTUTION WILL BE PROMULGATED IN NEXT SIX MONTHS

PM COMMENT ON SUPREME COURT VERDICT

Kathmandu, 2 Dec.: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai revealed in a programme aired over state-owned Radio Nepal Thursday evening government isn’t sure a constitution will be promulgated in the remaining six months.
Supreme court has proclaimed the constituent assembly (CA) tenure will end after May 2012.
“A discussion has started even in parliament on whether the directive [of apex court] was correct or not.
“A review is being considered on behalf of the state.
‘Discussions are being held amongst us on whether it [constitution] can be promulgated in six months,” the premier said over the monthly Janata Sangha Pradhan Mantri.
