UPDATE REGROUPING OF FORMER MAOISTL GUERRILLAS COMPLETED IN KAILALI
Kathmandu, 1 Dec.: Regrouping of the Maoist combatants at the Seventh Division cantonment of the PLA at Talabanda of Kailali concluded on Thursday, RSS reports from Dhangadi.

A total of 3,112 combatants were regrouped under the division and three satellite camps, coordinator of the regrouping work under the army integration special committee, Gopal Singh Bohara said.

Two hundred and nine of the total 3,221 combatants in the cantonment were absent in the regrouping. The number included those who passed away and some who faced disciplinary action, Secretary of the Seventh Division Office, Nep Bahadur Chaudhary said.

Regrouping at this division had begun on November 20, some
days later than other PLA divisions due to technical and managerial constraints.
