SURYA BAHADUR THAPA RELEASED FROM HOSITAL

Kathmandu, 21 Dec.: Former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa, 84, and chairman of Rashtriya Janashakti Party, was released from
Norvic Hospital Wednesday where he was admitted two days ago.
Thapa suffered high blood pressure and vomiting.
Norvic Hospital specializes in heart treatment.

COLD WAVE CLAIMS THREE MORE LIVES IN SIRAHA UPDATE

Kathmandu, 21 Dec. A cold wave claimed three more lives in SIraha Wednesday.
Two elderly men and a woman died at two places in the central
terai district, including Lahan.
More than three dozen lives had earlier been lost in the current
cold spell that started one week.
Sun hasn’t come out in the south for on week and the cold
is expected to continue for several days.
Some locals residents said the cold wave in the worst in two
decades.
The mercury dipped to 2.2 degrees Celsius in the capital
Wednesday.
