TWO HANUMAN DHOKA PALACE BEING OPENED TO PUBLIC FROM SATURDAY
SUNDARI, MOHANKALI CHOWKS OF HANUMAN DHOKA PALACE TO BE OPENED FOR PUBLIC FROM SATURDAY
Kathmandu, 2 Dec.: Sundari and Mohankali chowks or courtyards of ancient Hanuman Dhoka Palace are being opened to public, including tourists, from Saturday.
The chowks are being opened after repair, enhancing security and enlisting heritages.
Entrance for Nepal has been increased to Rs.30 from Rs10 while tourists will be charged Rs250 entrance fee.
Students will get a 50 percent discount Friday.

NAC PILOT RELIEVED OF RESPONSIBILITY AMID CHARGES OF LEAKING NEWS OF RAT ONBOARD AN AIRCRAFT
Kathmandu, 2 Dec.: Capt. Yubaraj Bhattarai of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has been relieve his post and responsibility, Sunil Bhattarai writes in Nagarik.
The move was taken on the recommendation of a five-member committee.
Capt. Bhattarai has been flying with NAC for 30 years.
He has been charged for irresponsibly leaking news of a rat trapped in the NAC aircraft.
(Note: A rat was trapped on board a Boeing flight from Kathmandu to Hong Kong earlier this year.)
