UML SAYS MONEY OF DONORS TO GOVT. BODY BEING CHANNELED
TO MAOISTS

Kathmandu, 1 Dec.: A meeting of UML standing
committee Thursday formed a 21-member management committee headed by
Secretary Yubaraj Gyawali manage preparations
for the party’s coming national representative council
meet in the capital from March 4, 2012.
The body of the second largest opposition party accused
government for the misuse of equipment and resources of
Youth and Small Enterprises Self-Employment Fund (YSESEF).
A scuffle broke out between youth activists of UML and
Maoists while the opposition was presenting a
memorandum at it office in the capital Thursday.
The party claimed donor money was being channeled to
finance Maoists.
The party asked the home ministry to apologize for
what it called excessive force and settle medical bill of
persons injured in the scuffle.
The committee condemned the violence.
