15 POLICEMEN INJURED IN PARSA CLASH
Kathmandu, 18 Jan.,: Fifteen policemen were injured
Wednesday with locals at Sedwa in Parsa during a search of
houses for illegally felled trees from a nearby protected forest.
Four persons were injured as police vehicles were smashed by angry mobs.

20KG HASH SEIZED IN PARSA
Kathmandu, 18 Jan.: Police Wednesday seized 20 kilograms of hashish from no-man's-land in Parsa district on Wednesday.
Mukti Paswan was arrested while smuggling the drug haul
across the border to India.
An Indian accomplice fled.

QUAKE WITH EPICENTER IN SIRAHA ROCKS NEPAL
Kathmandu, 18 Jan.: An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale jolted Nepal at 5.01 pm on Wednesday.
The epicenter was in Auriha in Sirahaa, south central terai, the National Seismological Centre at the Department of Mines and Geology
said.
