committee meet to form a consensus government, Secretary CP Gjurel said..
Calls were renewed Friday demanding the resignation of Prime Minister
Baburam Bhattarai who leads a government with the support of a front of
Madeshbadi parties.
Bhattarai has been in office for more than five months.
Demands for Bhattarai’s resignation were renewed after he decided to put on hold a cabinet decision to legalize the seizure of assets by Maoists during the the 10-year insurgency.
The Baidhya faction charged Bhattarai for pandering ‘feudal elements’ and overturning a unanimous standing committee decision
Gajurel said no concrete decisions were taken by the standing
committee.

NEW KRWP TALKS TEAM
Kathmandu, 10 Feb.: Kirat Republic Workers Party (KRWP) demanding
autonomy in eastern hill region Friday announced a new negotiating team
for talks with government, an official announcement said.
The team has five members and is coordinated by Paruhang Kirati
Kirati replaces Suman Bantawa
KRWP Chairman Yalambar said other members of the talks team are:
Dinesh Rai, Bal Bahadur Rai , Bijaya Rai and Pandav Rai.
