DIG RANJAN KOIRALA SENT TO JAIL WHERE HE’LL BE KEPT UNTIL FINAL COURT DECISION ON WIFE’S MURDER CHARGE

Kathmandu, 26 Feb. APF DIG Ranjan Koirala was sent to jail Sunday by Kathmandu district court Sunday until a court decision onmurder charge against him for murdering his wife Gita Dhakal.
Suspended Koirala who has been arrested is
Lodged at Dilli Bazzar Khor where former ministers Chiranjivi Wagle, Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta and lawmaker Shyam Sundar Gupta are also detained on various charges.
Thehas been charged in the murder of his wife Gita, and sent him to the Dillibazar prison until the final verdict.
Tara Regmi, Koirala’s companion, was released
on a Rs. 100,000 bail.

bearers Sunday formed a two-member committee consisting ofsenior party leaders Netra Bahadur Chand and Janardhan
Sharma to take up YCL demands for relief after
voluntary retirement of 7,200 former PLA fighters.

integrated in Nepal Army.
