SPEAKER NEMBANG SAYS SIGNIFICANCE OF PARTIES UNDER THREAT WITH UNCERTAIN CONSTITUTION
Kathmandu, 26 Feb.: Constitution Assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang on Sunday said that the significance of the political parties would be in jeopardy if they fail to promulgate the constitution within the allotted time, RSS reports from Ilam.
Addressing a program organised at Ilam today, CA Chairman Nembang said that the nation would not be able to uphold the calamity if the parties do not come to agreement soon.
Saying that the country would be dragged towards catastrophe without a timely constitution, Nembang urged everyone to pressurise the government as per one’s capacity.
Nembang further said that the states should be restructured in such a way that it does not hurt the sentiments of anyone. Nembang claimed that there is no alternative for the parties than to renounce their self or party interest and work for the interest of the nation.
