FURTHER DETAILS OF KATHMANDU BLAST

Kathmandu, 27 Feb.: The explosion was caused by an
improvised explosive device (IED) set off by a
device, police said preliminary investigation.
Police said initial investigation has established those
responsible for the deadliest capital and said Samyukta Janatantrik Mukti Morcha claimed responsibility.
Home Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar, who is also deputy
prime minister, told reporters Sanyukta Janatantrik Mukti Morcha has claimed responsibility in his first public comment.
He called the bombing ‘very serious’ and said government help
inr treatment of injured.
Former Home Minister Bhim Rawal in a government led by
UML said ‘minimum security was lacking’ and criticized
government for frequent change and transfer of police and dhome ministry officials during transition
The bomb went off just as officials and others arrived at
government offices shortly after 9AM.
