UPDATE PM LEAVES FOR BIHAR
Kathmandu, 17 Feb.: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai left for a flying visit of the neighbouring Indian state of Bihar Friday.
He’ll be chief guest at the three-day Second Global Bihar Summit in state Capital Bihar.
The premier told reporters before emplaning he’ll share experiences and study Bihar’s development.

GOVT. MONTHLY STIPENT FOR INJURED FORMER PLA FIGHTERS
Kathmandu, 17 Feb.: Government Thursday decided to pay monthly Rs 10,000
dole to per to disabled ex-PLA fighters at 28 camps and cantonments.
They refused to voluntarily vacate cantonments and camps after a five-year stay.

THREE ARRESTED IN SARLAHI
Kathmandu, 17 Feb.: Three persons were arrested overnight in Sarlahi emerging as one of the most lawless districts in the terai where armed outfits operate freely.
They were arrested with two SMGs and four sets of magazine from Hajariya VDC
The SMGs were recovered from the houses of Ram Ekbahal Sahani and
Rajbir Sahani
A middleman was also arrested.
