PRESIDENT INAUGURATING 6TH NATIONAL GAMES
SUNDAY IN DHANGADI

Kathmandu, 25 Feb.: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav launches the
6th National Games at the Dhangadhi Stadium Sunday in the far-West.
mony at the Dhangadhi Stadium from 26 February to.4 March.
Some evens will be conducted in Mahendranagar and Tikapur in the region as well..
"The preparation works are almost complete.” National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Yuvaraj Lama said.
Olympian Deepak Bista will light the games torch at the stadium.

to Dhangadi
Olympians Krishna Basnet, Raj Kumari Pandey, Bimala Rana Magar, Hari Bahadur Rokaya, Bishnu Bahadur Singh and
Dambar Dutta Bhatta are in the relay team.
Altogether 3381 athletes are participating in the opening
ceremony.
With Maoist PLA Club participating, Nepal Army is staying away frm the Games.
Thirty-two games will be staged , including Taekwondo Union
as a promotional game.
Some events will be staged in Kailali, Kanchanpur, Kavre, Birgunj, POkhara and Kathmandu.
