FAR-WEST REGION LIFT FOOTBALL TITLE IN 6TH NATIONALGAMES
Kathmandu, 3 March : Far-western Region Saturday defeated Armed Police Club (APF) 2-1 and won the football title in the Sixth National Games in Dhangadhi in am upset.
The champion earlier defeated Natioanl League and A Division champion Nepal Police Club in the semifinal.

TWO COMMIT SUICIDE IN MOHOTTARI
Kathmandu, 3 March: Two persons committed suicide separately in Mahottari district on Friday night, RSS reports from Gaushala.

Sunita Devi Sah, 32, wife of Lal Babu of Manara VDC-9 committed suicide by consuming poisonous substances following familial disputes, said police.

District Police Office, Mahottari, said Sunita died on the way to District Hospital, Jaleshwor. She was being rushed to the hospital after she fell unconscious by consuming poison.

Similarly, Gopal Bahadur Lumremagar, 22, son of Chet Bahadur of Laxminiya VDC-5 of the district killed self by himself hanging inside his bedroom, police said.

POWER PLANT LAUNCHED IN MYAGTHI BY PRIVATE PARTY
Kathmandu, 3 March: Mount Kailash Energy Company has started the construction works of Thapa Khola Hydro Project in Tukuche. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.61 billion, according to Company's Managing Director Bharat Khadka, RSS reports.from Myadghi

It is learnt that the project of 11.2 megawatts will be completed by 2071 B.S.

Minister for Energy Posta Bahadur Bogati, former finance ministers Ram Sharan Mahat, Prakash Chandra Lohani and Surendra Pandey laid a foundation stone of the project on Friday.

LOCALS PADLOCK JHIMRUK POWER HOUSE
Kathmandu, 3 March: Locals have not allowed enforcing load shedding that was planned from Saturday in Pyuthan by the Butwal Power Company under the direction of the Nepal Electricity Authority's System Department, Syuchatar, RSS reports from Pythan..
The locals have staged a sit-in at the power house from 5 am today as they had resorted to agitation for the past one week.
A team of locals including lawmaker of Pyuthan- 1 Narayan Prasad Adhikari along with the local struggle committee have locked out the power house.
The meeting of the Struggle Committee held at Bijuwar had decided to launch strong agitation by changing its form after the Butwal Power Company said it will enforce load shedding.
Convener of the Struggle Committee Muktiprasad Sharma said load shedding will in no way be allowed as it has been produced in the district.
The load shedding from 6:00 am today has not been started in Rolpa and Pyuthan districts.
There is no electricity in Rolpa from yesterday as there were glitches in the system.
Notice was made public a week ago to enforce six hours of load shedding daily in Pyuthan and its neighboring districts Arghakhanchi and Rolpa. RSS
