FIRST DAY SLC EXAMINATIONS CONCLUDE TUESDAY

Kathmandu, 20 March: Altogether 528, 257 appeared for this year’s SLC examinations Tuesday from centers nation-wide simultaneously as the test that began at eight concluded at 11 in the morning.
Students appeared for compulsory English the first day.
Two foreigners and former PLA soldiers were among those who appeared for he examinations.
Results are expected to be announced two months later.
From Kathmandu 34,0014 sat for the test to get a school leaving certificate while
only 104 examinees gave their test from Manang north of the Himalaya—the
highest and lowest in district wise breakdown .
