BIR HOSPITAL STAFF TO REACT TO MINISTER’S MISBEHAVIOUR

Kathmandu, 19 March: Doctors and other staff at Bir Hospital, the country’s oldest, have decided to protest the overnight misbehavioir of State Minister for Health Saroj Yadav at the emergency ward in a drunken
stupor
Eyewitnesses confirmed the minister’s misbehaviuor even as
Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai tackled dissatisfaction of senior government officials at Singha Durbar assembling ministers and top bureaucrats.
Never has such indiscipline been witnessed at government offices as the government chief mutely hears of complaints of misbehavour by ministers and union officials affiliated with parties,
A Madeshi minister abused a woman secretary in Singha Durbar
this month without
action against the minister to extend the longevity of government.
Madhav Kumar Nepal acted in similar fashion when ministers misbehaded with officials who were publicly disgraced and humiliated in
office.
