PAC SUB-COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE IRREGULARITIES
Kathmandu, 1 March: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the parliament has constituted a sub-Committee to present a report within one month by making on-the-spot visit on the progress and investigating into the details of expenditures so far made in the construction of the fast track linking Kathmandu and Terai-Madhes, RSS reports.

The meeting of the Committee chaired by Committee Chairman Ram Krishna Yadav at Singha Dubar on Thursday constituted the five-member sub-Committee with Rabindra Adhikari as convener and Pralhad Lamichhane, Ganga Parajuli, Usha Gurung and Sarbadev Ojha as members.

The Committee was constituted for study of the project as news was reported in media for some time that there was corruption in the construction after the Nepal Army received all the responsibility for opening the track.
