ONE KILLED IN SIRAHA WEDDING DISPUTE
Kathmandu, 4 March:A person died in a clash in wedding party at Jogiya tole of southern Sanahaitha VDC-8 in Siraha district on Saturday night, RSS reports from Lahan.
The deceased has been identified as Ameth Lal Yadav, 55, of Sanahaitha-9.
The incident took place due to dispute over wedding party of daughter of a local Bishnu Dev Yadav on March 2.
The seriously injured Radhe Shyam Yadav has been undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, according to Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Raj Kumar Shahi.
Police have arrested Gopi Yadav, Mithilesh Yadav, Govinder Yadav, Parshuram Yadav and Bindeshwor Yadav on the charge of their involvement in the incident.
Local Suresh Yadav said that the dispute arose among CPN-UML, Nepali Congress and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum cadres after no invitation was given to local 21 families of Yadav community, who had participated at a party organized by Mandal community few days ago.
Police personnel have been deployed at the village and villagers have fled after the incident.

MUSLIM TOLE CATCHES FIRE AT MOHOTTARI VILLAGE
Kathmandu, 4 March:: Five houses were gutted by fire at the Muslim settlement in Majara of Hattisarwa-5, Mahottari district on Saturday night, RSS reports from Bardibas.

Police said the houses of Sabdul Ansari, Naeem Ansari, Nathuni Ansari, Tahir Ansari and Ijotiya Khatoon were destroyed by the fire that broke out from Sabdul Ansari's house.

Goods and properties including food grain, clothes and valuables in these houses have been turned into ashes, said police.

The fire was doused through joint efforts of the locals and the police. It took four hours to douse the fire.
