SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Kathmandu, 29 March: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai will lead a Nepali delegation to a UN sustainable development conference in Brazil.
The conference will be held in June 2012.
Bhattarai has paid bilateral visits to India and China and attended the 2011
annual September session UN general assembly after being elected.

CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL
Kathmandu, 29 March: No appointments were made by meeting of a
constitutional council meet chaired by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai
Thursday.
Constitutional bodies have been leaderless affecting work of the bodies,
A concept paper was prepared for appointment to constitutional bodies.
The paper mentions those those eligible for apoiontment.
Prime Minister Bhattarai assured a parliamentary committee this month
vacancies would be filled in two weeks.
