PRICES OF POL PRODUCTS HIKED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT

Kathmandu, 27 March: Government with immediate effect Tuesday
increased prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene twice in one month
After a Rs 4 per liter increase , petrol will now cost Rs. 120 per liter while
diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 89per liter.
Authorities justified price increase on rising cost for import of POL
products.
Nepal Rashra Bank (NRB) said fuel price has directly impacted rise in averagea
consumer price index.
