NEPAL BEATS BERMUDA BY 24 RUNS UPDATE
Kathmandu, 18 March; Nepal beat Bermuda by 24 runs Sunday in the Group A ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier in UAE winning thee of its five league matches
losing two matches to Papua New Guinea and Afghanistan.
Bermuda scored 127 runs in 20 overs.
Shakti Gauchan claimed three wickets.

PRACHANDA SEEKS GACHHADAR SUPPORT FOR MAOISTS
Kathmandu, 18 March: Chairman of UCPN (Maoist) Puspa Kamal Dahal and Coordinator of Samyukt Madheshi Janadhikar Forum (SMJF) discussed issues related to army integration and the formation of national consensus government, Reportersnepal.com reports.

Prachanda had called on Gachhadar, who is also the Deputy Prime, Home and Defense minister,at his official residence in the capital on Sunday morning.

During the meeting, Prachanda urged Gachhadar to hold discussions on rank harmonization with Nepali Congress (NC) CPN (UML) and to push them for showing more flexibility on the issue.

The duo also discussed SMJF's recent ultimatum to government along with formation of national consensus government and concluding peace process.

WOMAN PRISONER COMMITS SUICIDE

Kathmandu, 18 March: A woman prisoner hanged herself from the ceiling of a
police outpost lavatory at Kalimati in the capital and committed suicide Sunday.
Bhawani Gautam of Dhading hanged herself and died.
She was being held for cheating.
