WOMAN BADLY BRUISED AFTER ATTACK OF CHARGE OF WITCHCRAFT

Kathmandu, 23 March: Sunita Pudasaini.36, was seriously after battering at Bayabasti in Jorpati in a rare incident in the capital Thursday
Sunita was assaulted by sharp weapons, including a sickle, by her cousin and is undergoing treatment at hospital.
Cousin Tara Dahal is sick and has been arrested with two others.
Assaults for witchcraft charges are frequent in the terai and hills but were
unheard in the capital.
A woman was killed in the last reported case in Chitwan recently.

TWO CHILDREN DIGGING FOR MUD BURIED IN JUMLA

Kathmandu, 23 March: Two girls digging red mud were buried alive and four others were injured along a road at Botamali in Jumla , radio reports Thursday night said.
Children killed were 13 and 14 years old.
Children aged three and five years were injured along with elderly.
