NEPALI AGENTS SMUGGLING PASSPORT WIELDING TIBETANS INTO TIBET

92 NEPALIS IN CHINESE PRISONS

Kathmandu, 7 April: Ninety-two Nepali are in prisons, including some in Tibet, Nirmal Shrestha writes in Kantipur.
There are 51 Nepalis in Hong Kong, 32 in Lhasa and nine in different prisons in Mainland China.
Some have been sentenced to life imprisonments’ most have been convicted for drugs trafficking.

TIBETANS CARRYING PASSPORTS BEING SMUGGLED INTO TIBET BY NEPALI AGENTS

Kathmandu, 7 April: Agents are illegally bringing in Tibetans
into Sindhupalchown, Rewati Sapkota writes in Annapurna Post from Tatopahi.
Nepali agents are charging as much as Rs.15,000 to Rs.18,000..
Four arrested Tibetans made the confessions,
Smuggling goes on along Bhote Koshi into a forest nearby Khasa in Tibet.
The four Tibetans carrying passports were returned to Nepal by
China.
Tibetans are being increased following increased border surveillance by Chinese
