NO SCHEDULED MEET ON BIG THREE
Kathmandu, 1 April: A scheduled follow-up meeting of the Big
Three Sunday after a breakthrough agreement Friday didn’t take place Sunday at the peace ministry.
Maoists and two opposition parties agreed Friday to form two commissions on truth and reconciliation and disappeared persons; the major parties also agreed to complete process for integration, voluntary retirement of remaining Maoist fighters, hand over 15 camps and cantonments and containerized weapons to government by 12 April. To seal peace and a constitution by 27 May.
Leaders cited their busy schedule for their absence Sunday at the ministry.

KAMAL THAPA NOT CERTAIN CONSTITUTION WILL COME 27 MAY
Kathmandu, 1 April:: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N), Kamal Thapa said on Sunday that promulgating the constitution within May 27 was impossible as the major political parties were still sticking to their stance regarding various disputed issues appeared in the constitution writing process, RSS reports.
Inaugurating the RPP-Nepal Kathmandu district level cadres’ orientation programme, he also warned that the nation was heading towards a deep crisis as the CA term has only 57 days and urged the major political parties to correct their weaknesses and move ahead.
The RPP-N chairman said the Nepali Congress, the CPN-UML, the Madhesi Front and the UCPN-Maoist should accept their failure and apologise to the people as it has been proved by now that these parties have, individually or collectively, failed to deliver peace and constitution to the people.
RPP-N parliamentary party leader Chandra Bahadur Gurung said nationality, democracy and liberalism were the guiding principles of his party and accused the major political parties of misusing the national coffers.
Assistant General Secretary of the RPP-N Sushil Shrestha presided over the programme.
