PM ACTIVE IN HOME DISTRICT GORKHA AS PARTIES DISCUSS AGREEMENT ON CONSTITUTION IN CAPITAL
Kathmandu, 25 April: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has claimed that the constitution writing process has been expedited right after the peace process was taken to an irreversible point. The PM assured that the country will get the new constitution within the slated timeframe, RSS reports from Gorkha.
Inaugurating the Chum Valley Mahotsav at Chhekampar in Gorkha district on Wednesday, the prime minister said that army integration process was almost concluded.
Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai added that the political parties have been holding a series of talks on the disputed issues in the constitution writing.
With the completion of the army integration, all classes of people in the country have been happy and a ray of hope has been seen, the PM added.
Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai also stressed on the development of the places like Chum Valley and said the government will pay necessary attention for the developmental works right after the conclusion of peace process and constitution writing.
The government is serious for the development of the Chum Valley, saying the government´s latest activities have given attention for the health, educational, and drinking water problem in the area.
He said the government has making the plan to construct motorable roads and rail ways by coordinating with the Government of China up to the Chum Valley. Chum Valley is a famous tourist destination located in upper Gorkha.
The main attraction of the four-day-long Mahotsav are the dishes prepared from the milk of Himalayan cow and woolen garments.
