PM HOLDS LDISCUSSIONS WITHPARTY BOSS AND NC TROUBLESHOOTER KRISHNA PRASAD SHITAULA

PM PARLEYS WITH PRACHANDA, KRISHNA PRASAD SHITAULA
Kathmandu, 4 April: Amid a fluid situation, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, who is vice-chairman of UCPN (Maoist) held discussions with his party boss Prachanda of UCPN (Maoist) Wednesday
The premier also held discussions with main opposition troubleshooter and NC General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula on Wednesday morning.
They discussed the twin processes of peace , constitution drafting ,integration of Maoist fighters in Nepal Army and related issues.

US DIPLOMAT ARRIVING WEDNESDAY
Kathmandu, 4 April: US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy R.
Sherman arrives Wednesday for a day-long visit.
She will hold discussions on current issues with Prime Minister Baburam
Bhattarai.
Sherman is meeting with leaders of the Tibetan community.

FIRE DESTROYS HOTEL IN PARSA
Kathmandu, 4 April: Property worth tens of thousands rupees has been gutted in
a fire at a hotel nearby the old building of Nepal Bank Limited at Maisthan, Birgunj Tuesday night, RSS reportsfrom Parsa.
The ill-omened hotel belongs to one Satyam Khadgi.
The fire that took place at around 11 PM last night destroyed physical properties worth around Rs. 500,000 which includes refrigerator , beverages and other products, said victim Khadgi.
The fire was brought under control with the mobilization of two fire engines and police force.

VIETNAMESE ARRESTED WITH FAKE INDIAN CURRENCY NOTES

Kathmandu, 4 April: Vietnamese national Pham Van Dhin was arrested Tuesday at TIA with fake Rs. 10 million Indian currency notes, a published report said.
The currency notes were of Rs.1,000 and Rs 500 denominations.
